1. Navigate to the small apple in the top left corner of your laptop

2. Click on About this Mac

3. IF you are running Ventura select “More info…” and then scroll down to storage settings on the next pop up screen. If not, select Storage across the top of the pop up window and then select Manage on the bottom right of the same screen

4. In storage settings you can look and see what is taking up space on your individual computer. The easiest ways to free up space fast is by moving photos to a personal cloud storage, deleting all of the gifs, memes, screenshots and videos out of the text messaging section [this only deletes it from the computer], and moving all of your documents to your google drive or personal cloud storage.
